Alibit
Terms

1. Who you are dealing with
Alibit is run by Alex Weström, Svenljunga, below called we. You can reach us at [email protected]. The service is at alibit.se. Alibit is not a company; the business is run by a private individual.
2. What Alibit is
Alibit is a digital party game: a cooperative murder mystery in which several players investigate a case together and finally name a culprit. The content is fiction. All people, places and events in the cases are invented, and any resemblance to real people or events is unintended.
3. Account
You need an account to play. You are responsible for keeping your login details out of the wrong hands, and for the details you give being correct. An account is personal. We may close an account that is used to disturb other players, get around payment, or place an abnormal load on the service.
4. Tiers and prices
The free parts of the game cost nothing. Beyond that there are three paid tiers. All prices below are in Swedish kronor and include VAT — the price you see is what you pay. No fees are added at checkout.
| Tier | Per month | Per year | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 0 kr | 0 kr | — |
| Normal | 29 kr | 249 kr | 99 kr |
| Premium | 49 kr | 399 kr | 189 kr |
| Author | 69 kr | 549 kr | 279 kr |
Which cases and features each tier includes is shown on the page where you choose an account type. We may change what is included, but we will not remove anything you have already paid for during the period you paid for.
5. Subscription and renewal
A purchase is a subscription that renews automatically — every month or every year, depending on what you chose. Renewal is at the same price as when you signed up, and your bank will notify you when the payment is taken. Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card details.
6. Cancelling the subscription
You can cancel at any time, without giving a reason: log in, press Manage subscription in the account row and follow the instructions. Cancellation takes effect immediately and you keep the tier you paid for until the end of the period already paid. No further payments are taken, and no notice period applies.
7. Right to cancel
You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of signing up for the subscription, without giving any reason. Tell us at [email protected] and say which account it concerns. We refund the full amount within 14 days of receiving your message, to the same means of payment you used. If a new subscription period has already started, that is refunded too.
The law allows an exception to the right of cancellation for a digital service that is used straight away, but we do not apply that exception: you have 14 days to cancel even after you have started playing.
8. Faults and complaints
Tell us if something is broken or a payment went wrong — we will put it right. You can also refer a purchase to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). We follow ARN's recommendations.
9. Our responsibility
We are responsible for the service working as described and for payments being handled correctly. We are not responsible for the service being temporarily unavailable, for outages at the providers we use, or for game data you have deleted yourself. Nor are we responsible for settling disputes between players about who in a group did what.
10. Changes
We may change these terms. They apply from the date of publication, and anyone who has already paid for a period keeps the terms for that period. Material changes are announced on the start page.
11. Law and disputes
Swedish law applies. Disputes are decided by a Swedish court, and you can always turn to ARN as described above.
